Creative Director

Janey Butler

Growing up on a farm in the picturesque Cotswolds, Janey's love of all things natural and beautiful were instilled from an early age.

Having a natural creative flair Janey studied at Cheltenham Art College and The London College of Fashion where she qualified in Textile Design.

Moving out to the Middle East with her work for three years in the early 90′s enabled Janey to travel and visit some of the most beautiful countries. Staying in some of the Top Destination Boutique Hotels only helped to fuel her love of beautiful architecture, interiors, and gardens. Travelling extensively across the Far East, America, Kenya, South Africa, Australia and most of Europe.

Janey's love of calming, neutral tones, using natural materials such as wood, stone and glass is combined with the use of gorgeous fabrics and bespoke accessories which make Janey's Llama Interiors beautiful spaces to enjoy, relax and live in.

With a style that can be described as Elegant Contemporary, Janey loves to design and create beautiful, calming, informal Interiors that are naturally light and inviting.

I love to create beautiful spaces, both inside and out. I have a real love of nature and natural materials. A large proportion of our Builds & Renovations tend to be in Conservation or Open Countryside areas of the UK and therefore the use of natural materials and colour schemes is of paramount importance to me that they blend into & enhance our beautiful countryside. I love to incorporate individual one-off pieces such as antique mirrors and items of vintage furniture which work beautifully when combined with contemporary furniture and modern day living styles. I am passionate about my work and the Interiors I create and feel very fortunate to have such a talented, professional team to work with and alongside in creating beautiful homes & living spaces for ourselves and our wonderful clients.

Llama Developments has its own Team of Architects, Designers, Planning Consultants, Engineers, Project Managers, Ecologists and Complete Building Teams capable of every aspect of a Project if required.
