Stones Barn

Stones Barn was another Listed Barn we converted. As you can see from the pictures, a lot of the existing beams had to be replaced and much of the stone work was not structurally sound so had to be pulled down and rebuilt. This was done in conjunction with the local Conservation Officer and English Heritage.

Again we had to use a specialist sewage treatment plant due to the soak away issues and local ground water levels.

Working closely with the local Planning Department we also managed to secure these unusual but highly effective ‘dorma’ style roof windows which are not normally permitted in a Listed Barn Conversion.
